Privacy Policy

How information is handled when you visit Sandhaan, sign in or use its connected services.

Effective date: 15 October 2026

Scope and responsibility

Sandhaan is developed by Rehearse. This policy covers the public website at sandhaan.in and services enabled on it. Your participating office controls access to its Investigation Module, the information it submits and its internal records. Office policies and applicable record-keeping requirements also apply. Contact your office about investigation records and Rehearse about this website or technical support.

Information processed

  • Account and access information, such as your name, email address, phone number, office identity, assigned roles, account status and sign-in records.
  • Library activity, where enabled, such as book issues, returns, visits and inventory changes.
  • Communication details, including the recipient, selected channel, message or template information, delivery status and support correspondence.
  • Technical information needed to operate and protect the service, including IP addresses, browser details, session cookies and error or security logs.

The information processed depends on the features your office enables and the actions you take. Visiting these public information pages does not require an account.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, apply access permissions, provide enabled services, synchronise authorised office account and library changes, send requested or permitted service messages, resolve support requests and protect against misuse.

Office integration does not make internal investigation records public. Account and service synchronisation is limited to the configured integration; the office controls what it sends.

WhatsApp, SMS and email

When enabled and permitted, these channels may carry one-time codes, verification messages, account notices and service updates. Message frequency depends on your requests and activity. Permission to receive service messages is not permission for unrelated promotional messages.

To withdraw messaging permission or request that a channel be stopped, email services@rehearse.in or contact your office administrator. State the contact number or email address and the channel you want stopped. This is a support request handled by the team, not an automated keyword service. You can also block a sender using WhatsApp’s controls. If you stop authentication messages, ask your office about another available sign-in method.

Delivery may involve WhatsApp/Meta, telecom operators, SMS gateways and email providers. These providers receive the destination and information necessary to deliver the message and apply their own terms and privacy policies. Ordinary carrier or data charges may apply.

Sharing and service providers

Access is limited to authorised administrators and personnel who need information to operate the service. Hosting, messaging and other configured service providers may process information for the service; their processing locations depend on the provider. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to investigate misuse and protect the service. Personal information is not sold.

Cookies and device storage

Sandhaan uses cookies for sessions, security and, if selected, remembering sign-in. Its installable web app stores basic offline assets on your device. Authenticated pages are not cached for offline reading by its service worker. Disabling necessary cookies can prevent sign-in. External sites linked from these pages have their own policies.

Retention and security

Records are kept for the time required to provide services, maintain operational and security records, and meet applicable office or legal requirements. Retention varies by record type and office policy. Backups may retain records after removal from active systems until the backup retention period ends.

Sandhaan uses HTTPS and access controls. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Keep credentials private, use trusted devices and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

Access, correction and deletion requests

Contact services@rehearse.in to raise a privacy concern or request access, correction or deletion of information related to this service. For office-managed records, contact your office administrator as well. Requests are assessed after identity verification and subject to applicable retention duties and organisational authority; some records cannot be deleted on an individual request.

Use our Contact page for phone and postal details. Do not include confidential case material in a privacy enquiry.

Changes to this policy

Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Please review it when using new features or changing how you receive communications.
